As the Analyst, Supply Chain Systems, you are responsible for implementing and supporting the deployment of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) with a focus on BY (Blue Yonder) solutions. This includes overseeing system setup, user testing, support training, production deployment, and ongoing post-implementation support to ensure a high-quality experience for both new and existing client sites.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Analyze customer and business partner requirements together with Implementation Design Lead to align WMS implementations with business needs, applying key implementation concepts and principles to drive effective solutions.
  • Contribute to project planning by estimating time and resources for tasks such as system setup, configuration, testing, and training.
  • Conduct hands-on system configuration, training support, troubleshooting, and go-live assistance to meet project milestones.
  • Support the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process by facilitating testing sessions, gathering feedback, and ensuring proper issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal and client teams to develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that meet both GXO and client standards.
  • Leverage IT methodologies and internal team approaches to ensure implementations are delivered with consistency and repeatability.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 2+ years of experience in the development and implementation of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • 1+ years of experience with Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System
  • 2+ years of experience in SQL
  • Experience with formal project management practices 
  • Expertise and experience in at least one of the following business disciplines: supply chain management, warehousing, transportation or distribution 

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Master’s degree 
  • Availability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Knowledge of formal systems development methodologies 
  • Thorough understanding of current information system technologies, including client/server, relational databases, web-based systems and object-oriented design
