As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products are delivered promptly and in perfect condition.

 

You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on a shift pattern of 'any 5 days out of 7', contracted to 48 hours per week with start times between 04:00-07:00 or 10:00-13:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Delivering stock in roll cages to stores on a multi-drop or trunking basis
  • Providing an efficient and supportive delivery service by helping to offload stock into stores and collect any waste for return to the site
  • Conducting vehicle checks before and after each shift, ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy
  • Completing all paperwork accurately and on time
  • Ensuring compliance with all tachograph regulations

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • A full UK driving licence with C category
  • No more than 3 penalty points on your licence (no TT, IN, DD, DR, or DG endorsements
  • An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your initiative
