Business Support Manager I
Logistics at full potential!
For our dynamic site in the port of Antwerp, we are looking for a proactive Business Support Manager. In this role, you'll be the link between our customers, customer service, GXO operations, and internal teams.
You ensure that processes and systems run smoothly and set up improvement projects to continuously optimize our services.
Your role as a Business Support Manager:
- You will be the central point of contact for our customers, Customer Service Officers and GXO Operations regarding systems and processes
- You will support a team of 6 Customer Service Officers and ensure a motivating working atmosphere
- Solve operational issues, perform root cause analyses and implement sustainable solutions
- Initiate and lead continuous improvement initiatives to structurally improve processes
- Monitor, send and report your KPIs
- Coordinate your customs formalities (import/export) and optimize our WMS system
- Manage your projects with multidisciplinary teams (IT, Operations, Business)
- You make daily operational decisions in consultation with the Site Manager and Warehouse & Transport Manager.
What you need to succeed at GXO
- A Bachelor's or master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or an equivalent field
- Fluent Dutch, both orally and in writing; Good knowledge of English is a plus
- A proactive, hands-on working style and the ability to support teams effectively
- Self-starting ability: you take initiative and work independently to achieve goals
- Excellent communication skills and the talent to strengthen relationships, both internally and externally
- Experience with WMS systems and process optimization is a plus; affinity with IT is essential
- Basic knowledge or practical experience with customs processes is a plus
