As the Lead Analyst, Technology, you will drive the entire new business development portfolio of intake and estimation. You’ll partner extensively and cross- functionally with Commercial Sales, Solution Design, Operations, Finance, Pricing and IT to intake all new sales opportunities. What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead and participate in the analysis of high-level clients and RFPs to scope, estimate and respond in a timely manner
- Lead and participate in the analysis of operational and system requirements and seek inputs from Solution Design, Pricing and operational teams
- Collaborate across IT to analyze RFP requests and update estimation and engineering template – IT Cost Estimation
- Clarify scope (in scope and out of scope) and assumptions across IT
- Develop high level project plans based on IT project lifecycle phases
- Finalize RFP estimates and lead review with leadership to gain approval
- Communicate all issues and interdependencies internally and hold all parties accountable as required
- Track, manage and communicate entire IT RFP pipeline approval process
- Troubleshoot, resolve and escalate issues quickly and effectively
- Assist with ongoing continuous improvement activities and solicit feedback on RFP and commercial sales process
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s or equivalent related work or military experience
- 4 years of experience in IT, supply chain management, logistics, engineering or operations
- Experience with Supply Chain Management systems specifically with WMS or TMS
- Project Management experience
- Experience using Microsoft office
It’d be great if you also have:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management or Business
- MBA
- 5-7 years of experience in IT, supply chain management, including warehouse management systems, system design techniques, engineering design processes etc.
- Solid project management skills with demonstrated ability to work creatively with and lead cross-functional teams
