Resource Planning Assistant

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Resource Assistant to join our team in Avonmouth, supporting one of our new business wins! As a Resource Assistant, you will be supporting the planning manager. You will focus on both short and long-term planning of core staffing and temporary agency volumes.
This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £36,000.00 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Assist in creating and maintaining shift schedules and training plans for warehouse staff.
- Analyse operational data to forecast resource needs and identify trends.
- Produce management information reports to support planning decisions.
- Communicate with warehouse teams and stakeholders to align on staffing and operation charges
- Support the implementation of planning tools, systems and assist with continuous improvement related to warehouse efficiency
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong proficiency in excel and other office applications
- Experience within resource planning, ideally within a fast-paced logistics environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
