Join us as a Warehouse Operative supporting the Amazon operation in Avonmouth, where you’ll be part of a fast‑paced, high‑performing environment. As a key member of our MHE team, you’ll help keep one of the world’s leading logistics networks moving efficiently.

 

Some roles—especially HLOP—require working at height. Full training and safety equipment are provided and you’ll always have the support you need to feel confident and safe.

 

This is a full‑time, permanent position working a 3 on / 3 off shift pattern, either 06:00–18:00 or 18:00–06:00. You’ll also enjoy 25 Saturdays, 26 Sundays, and 17 full weekends off per year, giving you a rare work–life balance.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Operate a range of MHE, including HLOP, VNA, Reach Truck and Counterbalance, to keep our warehouse running smoothly
  • Support a range of warehouse activities, including picking, despatching customer orders, and loading/unloading trailers
  • Champion a safety‑first culture by following all health and safety procedures and promoting best practice across the warehouse

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Experience working in a warehouse environment, ideally with MHE such as HLOP, VNA, Reach Truck or Counterbalance
  •  A strong commitment to safety and the ability to follow all health & safety procedures
  • Confidence working in a fast‑paced, high‑performing operational setting
  • Great teamwork skills and the ability to support colleagues across different warehouse tasks
  • Reliability, a positive attitude, and the flexibility to adapt to the needs of a busy logistics operation
