GXO are looking for an Inventory Manager to join The Entertainer site in Banbury. Here you’ll be responsible for managing our customers’ stock to an agreed accuracy figure and leading your team to achieve business goals: through focussing on continuous improvement and promoting a team-based culture.                     

 

This is a full time, permanent position, where you’ll be working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The day shift starts at 07:00 and the afternoon shift at 15:30. There is some flexibility in your working hours. However, you will be required to be visible on both shifts within the working day.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Manage inventory operations, maintain the integrity of the stock and achieve and exceed KPI expectations
  • Lead the inventory teams activities to achieve business goals through focusing on continuous improvement and promoting a team-based culture
  • Liaise between senior management and operational colleagues to ensure a complete and exceptional service is provided
  • Manage the customers stock to an agreed accuracy figure, creating reports and attending customer meetings

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • A proven track record in inventory management, with an in-depth knowledge of inventory processes
  • Experience of delivering stock strategy projects within a fast-moving environment
  • Demonstrable experience of using WMS systems, DLX would be advantageous
  • Adaptability when working in a rapidly changing and fast-paced environment with excellent planning skills
  • The ability to take responsibility and demonstrate commitment by leading by example
