CI Manager

Are you passionate about making things better, faster, and smarter? We’re looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead the charge in transforming our operations through Lean thinking and strategic innovation.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Barnsley supporting our ASOS contract. You’ll be working Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 08:30 till 17:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Champion Lean principles across the site through coaching, mentoring, and hands-on support
  • Lead the strategic deployment process, managing timelines, governance, and visualisation
  • Facilitate Kaizen workshops and improvement projects aligned with business goals
  • Track, measure, and present progress to internal and external stakeholders
  • Support colleague development through Yellow & Green Belt training initiatives

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Green Belt (or equivalent) in Lean/Six Sigma with hands-on workshop experience
  • Strong communication and influencing skills across all business levels
  • Proven track record of coaching colleagues and management teams in building a mature Lean/C.I capability across end-to-end value streams within sites
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
  • Proficient in Microsoft tools and confident in data presentation
