Engagement Coordinator

Here at GXO, we are currently looking for a creative, energetic, and people-focused Engagement Coordinator to take the lead on employee engagement and community outreach at our ASOS, Barnsley site. If you love planning events, building relationships, and making work a place people love to be, this is your moment.
This is a full-time, permanent positing. You’ll be working Sunday to Thursday, on a rotating shift pattern, covering the hours of 05:45 till 14:15 and 13:45 till 22:15.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £26,500 per annum and 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead and deliver all on-site engagement activities, events, and celebrations
- Build strong partnerships with local schools, charities, and community groups
- Manage internal communications including TV content, colleague app, and noticeboards
- Chair Engagement Champion meetings and drive participation across the site
- Design creative marketing materials to promote events and initiatives
- Own the on-site recognition scheme and long service awards
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Experience in event planning and community engagement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative flair and confidence in using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Publisher)
- A passion for people, positivity, and making a difference
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
