Finance Administrator

Here at GXO, we’re looking for a detail-driven Finance Administrator to join our ASOS contract based in Barnsley. You’ll play a vital part in ensuring smooth financial operations for the site. You’ll provide essential administrative support to the Assistant Finance Manager and the wider commercial/financial team, making sure the processes run efficiently and accurately.
This is a full-time, permanent position. You’ll be working Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 09:00 till 17:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £28,000 per annum and 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Raise timely and accurate sales invoices and purchase orders
- Manage supplier payments and resolve queries
- Complete month-end tasks including reconciliations, journals, accruals & prepayments
- Support with credit card requests and liaise with finance teams
- Build strong relationships across departments and with suppliers
- Drive cost control and support continuous improvement in finance processes
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Strong IT skills, especially Excel
- Ability to work to strict deadlines with high attention to detail
- Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
- Excellent communication skills to engage with finance and non-finance colleagues
- Experience with SAP or COUPA (desirable)
