Here at GXO, we’re recruiting Warehouse FLT Drivers to join our Ardagh Glass team on a fixed term, 6 months contract. You will be working on a Monday -Friday shift pattern, covering the hours of 20:00 – 05:00.

 

Please be advised this role is based in Barnsley however, due to operational requirements, you might need to support Wheatley or Knottingley sites so you will need to have access to a car.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Carrying out assigned tasks such as: picking, packing, goods receipt, processing returns working with glass products

  • Operating MHE (Counterbalance and Reach Truck)

  • Inputting data onto a Warehouse Management System

  • Receiving, checking, and put away of deliveries / returns

 

What you need to succeed:

 

  • Valid Counterbalance  license is a must 

  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal

  • Previous warehousing experience in a glass environment is highly desirable

  • Driving license
