Class 2 Driver

Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver looking to join an organisation that can offer you the training and development to progress your career? 

At GXO, we recognise that it’s our people who help keep the nation moving so due to continued growth, we are looking for Class 2 Drivers to join us in Bathgate!  In this role, you will be responsible for delivering freshly roasted Costa Coffee beans and delicious food items to our stores, ensuring that they receive their orders in top-quality condition and on time.

You will be working a minimum of 48 hours per week, on a ‘5 on 3 off’ shift pattern, with start times between 05:00 and 09:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Deliver chilled, frozen, and ambient products to Costa Coffee stores on a multi-drop route, using totes and tote boards
• Carry out pre and after-use vehicle checks in line with company policy
• Unload stock from totes upon arrival at each store
• Collect and return waste to the site
• Inspect the vehicle for any defects or signs of wear and tear, reporting issues promptly
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Hold a valid Class 2 licence
• Less than six points on your licence (as well as no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
• An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
• Commitment to safety and compliance with driving regulations
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your initiative
