What do you do as a Business Support Manager

  • As Business Support Manager you will work for one of the largest supply chain organizations in the world. You will provide operations and our client support to allow them to perform at the highest effectiveness
  • You will serve as point of contact for our inhouse based client, Customer Service and Operations regarding systems and processes
  • You will lead and manage the planning and stock control department on site
  • As Business Support Manager you are responsible to report and control the department KPI’s and analyse them. You will identify root cause for variances and close gaps. 
  • You integrate business solutions for customer account together with your CI colleague
  • In this role you make day-to-day and operational decisions, together with our Site Manager and Operations Manager
  • You will report to the Site Manager and work mainly during office hours, but if needed we expect flexibility in this.

 

What you need to succeed at GXO

  • You are in posession of a bachelor degree / university degree in relevant area (logistics / production) with accompanying high level operational and analytical skills.  
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a production and / or logistic environment
  • You are fluent in English and preferably Dutch and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You are committed to deliver high quality work, have a great eye for detail and you have a professional critical attitude
  • You are self-driven, result-oriented and like to work pro-actively
  • You have good reporting, presentation and financial skills
