For our newest location in Bergen op Zoom, we are looking for Continuous Improvement Coordinator. In this role you are responsible for the delivery of process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives at site level with the goal of establishing a continuous improvement culture. Are you recently graduated in this aspect of Logistics / Supply Chain, then this role is also open for you!
 

What you do on a typical day

  • Create data analysis to identify potential Continuous Improvement Projects in operations, product quality, organizational, supply chain, maintenance, or safety as long as it is based on the Lean and 5S approach
  • Develop key control parameters for imbedding the changing in the process and work methods
  • Collect information, import data into the tool, report it to the direct Manager and decide on the savings, which can be made
  • Design a plan for Continuous Improvement training and communication at operational level
  • Prepare presentations, train the site personnel, attend professional seminars and then conduct trainings to the plant employees later, like in Lean and 5S
  • Lead Kaizen, LEAN and 5S workshops togehter with our Learning and Development colleagues

 

What you need to succeed at GXO

  • Bachelor Education in logistics, supply chain management or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English and Dutch
  • Knowledge of LEAN Warehousing 
  • Result-oriented and like to work pro-actively
  • Excellent reporting and presentation skills
  • Broad technical knowledge and are willing to keep developing yourself
