Are you ready to lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced logistics environment? We are looking for a Team Leader Business Support for our site in Bergen op Zoom. In this role, you will manage and coordinate the Transport Planning & Documentation Department, ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and continuous improvement across various logistics flows.
This role operates during regular daytime hours, ensuring a stable and structured work schedule.
What you do on a typical day
- Lead the planning and execution of transport flows including FPC, Duty Free, Algeria, Russia, and container inbounds.
- Oversee the issuance of transport, customs, and preferential documentation for all shipped goods.
- Ensure customs administration is accurate, compliant, and cost-efficient.
- Translate logistics strategies into tactical plans aligned with PMI global standards.
- Monitor KPIs and take corrective actions to meet budget and performance targets.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and internal stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across logistics operations.
- Ensure team compliance with EHS, customs, and excise regulations
What you need to succeed
- College/University degree in Economics or Business Engineering.
- Solid understanding of key Supply Chain processes, including customs procedures.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Proven experience in team leadership and logistics strategy execution.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
