Class 2 Driver

Here at GXO Logistics Birmingham we are looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our transport team supporting our customer WHSmith. You will be part of a crew that is with you every step of the journey, supporting you on the road and beyond.
You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on an any 5 days from 7 pattern, with start times of 15:30 to 19:00, contracted to 45 hours per week.

What you will do on a typical day:
- Deliver goods to retail and hospitality venues on multidrop basis, working efficiently to complete scheduled drops
- Transport palletised goods and roll cages, ensuring all loads are secure and compliant with SSOW
- Unload goods safely at each delivery point and return empty cages to the depot at the end of each shift, ensuring they are loaded and secured correctly
- Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner while ensuring required documents are completed accurately and on time
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Full UK driving licence with category C entitlement
- Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
- No more than 6 current penalty points
- No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements
- Previous experience driving category C vehicles is essential
