Inbound Coordinator

GXO are looking for a Inbound Coordinator to join WH Smith site in Birmingham. Here, you’ll oversee and optimize daily warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of goods. You’ll be responsible for leading and supporting a team of operatives, providing coaching, mentoring, and guidance to align with site objectives and business requirements.

This is a full-time, permanent position where you will be working Monday to Friday, with hours 14:00 – 22:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Control headcount and overtime budgets and ensuring cost, quality and delivery targets are met and ensure accurate shift handover information

• Develop and maintain appropriate daily, weekly, and monthly reporting mechanisms to monitor, control and improve performance

• Achieve and exceed KPI target expectations

• Emphasising continuous improvement, building a team-based culture that promotes collaboration, efficiency, and adheres to safety rules

• Work alongside the site Quality Team to ensure Metrics (KPI) and team are managed in line with the site SLA
