Multi Tasking Warehouse Inventory Operative

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Multi-Tasking Warehouse Operative to join our Inventory team. You will support our busy operation, where we provide logistics services for our customer BAE Systems in Blackburn Salmesbury.
Successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain Security Clearance, which includes providing 5 consecutive years of UK residence and employment/education history.
You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on a Monday to Friday shift pattern, 37 hours per week covering the hours between 07:30 and 15:30 finish at 15:00 on a Friday!

As a Warehouse Operative, you will receive:
- Annual salary of £26,579.14 per annum / £13.81 per hour

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Receiving, picking, packing, and cycle counting of warehouse inventory
- Completing a range of inventory‑related tasks, including data entry and admin duties
- Operating safely in line with provided training
- Working with team members to meet targets and customer expectations
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous warehouse experience in stock control or inventory roles is an advantage
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and inventory processes is desirable
- Good communication skills, along with good listening skills and strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Self -motivated with the ability to prioritise workloads and work using own initiative
- Ability to work well as part of a team and support others when needed
- All successful candidates will require full security vetting
