Warehouse Operative

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting a full time, permanent Warehouse Operative to join our team in Blackburn, BB1 2LJ. You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 08:30 to 16.45.
Successful candidates will be subject to a full vetting, including Disclosure Scotland clearance process.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Receiving, picking and packing customer goods in a safe and efficient manner
- Checking for damaged or missing items, storing and moving goods
- Data entry inventory tasks including cycle counting and associated administrative duties
- Supporting smooth warehouse operations through accurate stock control and timely completion of tasks
- Working collaboratively with team members to achieve targets and consistently meet customer expectations
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Forklift (Counterbalance/Reach) licences would be an advantage, however full training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation, data handling, and high‑quality work standards
- Effective communication written and verbal communication skills
- A safety focused, detail orientated and conscientious approach to your work
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems would be an advantage, although full training will be provided
