Finance Manager

We are currently looking for a Finance Manager to join our team in Bradford, supporting our M&S Fashion, Home & Beauty operation. You’ll be accountable for the finance function, covering both Warehouse and Transport operations. The role delivers accurate, timely financial reporting to GXO and the customer, including weekly, period and quarterly reporting, forecasting and budgeting, using insight to influence operational and commercial decision‑making.
You’ll ensure the integrity of financial accounts, maintain strong financial controls in line with SOX requirements, and provide a high‑quality financial service to both Marks & Spencer and GXO stakeholders through clear reporting and analysis.
This role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis, the hours of work are Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00. However, we do require a level of flexibility - this is logistics after all!

You’ll be paid a salary of up to £60,000 per annum. What you’ll do on a typical day:
- You’ll oversee and produce the weekly/monthly/quarterly financial and KPI reporting, including the delivery of GXO month end processes and balance sheets
- You’ll lead, manage, coach and develop your team to exceed expectations - you will bring the team together ensuring everyone is working towards a common goal
- You’ll be responsible for ensuring the annual operation plan and quarterly revisions are completed and submitted to our customer in the agreed timescales
- You’ll be a key player in driving the onsite CI agenda, including driving cost saving initiatives and accurate data reporting, challenging the status quo and delivering maximum benefit to the business
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Proven experience in a fast paced, dynamic environment, producing management accounts and KPI reporting
- Experience in producing financial reports and analysis with meaningful commentary
- Experience in building strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Be an effective influencer and communicator, able to positively engage and empower others
- Full qualified CIMA, ACCA or equivalent
