Class 2 Driver

We are now looking for a skilled Class 2 Driver to join our team and play a key role in maintaining that high standard. If you have a strong work ethic, great communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent service, this is your chance to be part of something truly special.

You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on a shift pattern of 'any 5 days out of 7', contracted to 48 hours per week with start times between 04:00 am and 12:00 pm so you can choose what suits you best

 What you will do on a typical day:

• Delivering stock in roll cages to stores on a multi-drop or trunking basis
• Providing an efficient and supportive delivery service by helping to offload stock into stores and collect any waste for return to the site
• Conducting vehicle checks before and after each shift, ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy
• Completing all paperwork accurately and on time
• Ensuring compliance with all tachograph regulations

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Hold a valid UK Driving licence with Category C (Class 2)
• Less than six points on your licence (as well as no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
• An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
• Commitment to safety and compliance with driving regulations
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your initiative
