Class 2 Driver

This is a full-time, permanent position, working 48 hours per week across any 5 days out of 7 with start times between 04:00 am and 08:00 am.

 What you will do on a typical day:

 

  • Deliver stock to Co-op stores using roll cages, carrying out both multi-drop and trunking deliveries
  • Provide excellent service by safely unloading stock into stores and collecting any waste or returns for transport back to the site
  • Carry out thorough vehicle checks before and after every shift to ensure your vehicle is safe, roadworthy, and ready to go
  • Complete all delivery documentation accurately and on time
  • Follow all tachograph and driving regulations, maintaining full compliance at all times

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • A valid UK driving licence with Category C (Class 2) entitlement
  • No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC, or TT endorsements
  • A current CPC qualification and a valid Digital Tachograph card
  • A strong commitment to safety, compliance, and professional driving standards
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work confidently on your own initiative
