Operational Trainer

We are looking for an Operational Trainer to join our Currys site in Bristol. As an Operational Trainer, you’ll be a key part of our AMAZING Learning, Development and Training team, delivering high-quality MHE training and supporting the ongoing development of our colleagues on the Currys contract. You’ll play a vital role in shaping a strong learning culture while ensuring all training meets operational, legal, and safety standards.

 

 

This is a full-time permanent role working 4 on 4 off and 07:00 to 19:00

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £34,969.65 per annum and 26 days annual leave (including bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Deliver engaging and effective MHE training aligned to different learning styles and business needs
  • Ensure all colleagues are trained and signed off against MHE SSOW in line with legal requirements
  • Support site training plans, inductions, and ongoing development of new and existing colleagues
  • Monitor, record, and maintain training data, including MHE observations and compliance tracking

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Experience operating Reach Truck (clamps and forks), Counterbalance (min. 6 months), and PPT
  • Strong communication skills with a confident, professional and approachable style
  • Ability to work under pressure, using initiative and maintaining high attention to detail
  • A safety-first mindset, with a genuine passion for training, development, and team success
