Warehouse Team Leader (Nights)

We are currently on the lookout for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our team in Bristol on our Transport Networks multi-user site. You will lead and support a team of 6 operatives in a fast-paced multi-user cross dock operation. Various trunks will need to be unloaded, sorted into route order and reloaded onto the radial delivery vehicles.
This role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis. You’ll be working on a ‘4 out of 7’ shift pattern, Wednesday to Saturday from 19:00 to 07:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £32,293.53 per annum, plus an additional £3,229.20 shift allowance. You’ll also receive 22.4 days annual leave including bank holidays. What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Plan, co-ordinate, supervise and report upon the work activities of the warehouse operatives, providing effective communication, leadership, succession planning, motivation, training, and development
- Lead the team on health & safety, showing good working practices as you’ll be responsible for keeping all our operational processes fully compliant whilst keeping your people safe
- Support your team with loading vehicles during busy periods throughout your shift to ensure customer KPIs are met
- Respond constructively to internal and external customer requests while developing and maintaining effective communication
- Briefing & de-briefing drivers throughout the shift ensuring paperwork completed to the correct standard
