To support our growing presence in Europe, we are looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our team in Romania. The role is based in Ştefăneştii de Jos.
What does your day look like in the role of our Continuous Improvement Engineer:
- Actively participating in the phase of implementation of a new customer or new services
- Conducting improvement projects
- Tracking of technological advances and ongoing analysis of their applicability
- Monitoring of the operational situation and ongoing support
- Raising productivity through implemented changes
- Fostering a Lean Manufacturing culture and applying the tools
- Creation and supervision of technical documentation
- Production and modification of technical drawings in AutoCad
- Creation of reports, presentations and project calculations
- Analysis and ongoing saving calculations of implemented changes
- Management of optimization projects internally and in cooperation with external suppliers
What do you need to be successful:
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a production and / or logistic environment
- A university degree in relevant area with accompanying high level operational and analytical skills
- Advanced level of English and preferably Romanian
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Lean methodology
- Ability to solve problems, evaluate, plan and organize work
