Finance Manager

Essential tasks
- Working closely with the Country Managing Director/Operations Director, Finance Director, FP&A Team, Controllership and support departments.
- Ensuring a high level of internal and external stakeholder satisfaction. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Analyzing and evaluating operational processes in terms of their economic efficiency, proposing improvements and corrective measures.
- Overseeing the calculation and monitoring of the financial key indicators (KPI's) for each business area, the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow. Analysing deviations and recommending changes to improve these indicators.
- Implementing budget and periodic forecasting processes (monthly, weekly).. Ensuring timely execution of these processes with expected quality.
- Execution of month/year end closing process from FP&A perspective, in accordance with the methodology adopted in the group and the cluster.
- Supporting business decision-making by proactively identifying opportunities and threats and assessing their impact on the business.
- Managing team of controllers and analysts, recruiting, deploying and developing staff in line with the standards established within the organisation.
- Proposing, implementing and improving the IT tools used to by the FP&A Team.
Requirments
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is a plus.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Controlling, or a similar finance leadership role, preferably in a multinational or logistics/operations-driven environment.
- Proven experience in managing and developing high-performing finance teams.
- Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end/year-end closing processes
- Proactive in identifying risks and opportunities that impact business performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities, including recruitment, coaching, and performance development.
