Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Operational Manager who will be reporting directly to the Site Manager, the Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective warehouse operations while delivering high service levels and operational excellence. The role requires strong leadership, people management, and operational planning capabilities, with a focus on productivity, quality, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operations Management of a high-volume warehouse (more than 200 HC)
- Lead and manage all day-to-day warehouse operations, including inbound, put away, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and inventory control.
- Ensure operational targets related to productivity, accuracy, service level are achieved
- Monitor workflow and allocate resources effectively to meet changing business demands.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, operational standards, and customer requirements.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, regular team sessions and continuous team motivation
- Support workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and daily planning of HC according to forecast and volumes
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and warehouse procedures.
- Monitor and analyze operational KPIs such as productivity, order accuracy, stock accuracy, labor utilization, and customer service performance.
- Prepare regular operational reports for the Site Manager
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and fulfillment processes
- Experience with WMS systems
- Proven experience managing large operational teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Advanced English skills preferred.
