System and Reporting Optimisation Manager

GXO are on the lookout for a Systems & Reporting Optimisation Manager to join our team at the M&S site in Peterborough. This is a fairly new role to GXO, so there’s real scope to make your mark. You’ll be reviewing on-site reporting, identifying opportunities to automate manual processes, and creating dashboards that highlight performance improvements at a glance. It’s early days, there’s lots of attention on this, and plenty of opportunity to shape how we do things.
This role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis, the hours of work are 40 per week Monday to Friday, between the hours of 08:00 - 17:00, to suit your current commitments.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Identify and lead system, reporting, and process improvement projects, focusing on automation, simplification, and performance visibility
- Review and enhance reporting streams, removing duplication and manual entry, while creating dashboards that highlight productivity and performance trends
- Build and maintain business cases that support cost-saving initiatives and elevate customer experience
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the site to embed continuous improvement principles and drive operational excellence
- Champion customer-focused objectives that improve health & safety, reduce costs, and strengthen service delivery through data-led decision making
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Experience in a fast-paced, change-orientated role with a background in continuous improvement and systems/reporting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Proven ability to present data in a clear, accessible way to both junior and senior audiences
- Advanced Excel skills (essential), basic SQL knowledge (essential), and Power BI experience (beneficial)
- Experience using JDA WMS at a frontend user level
- A problem-solving mindset and a passion for continuous improvement
