Warehouse Operative

Here at our site in Carlisle, we’re working in conjunction with some high-end garment retailers and looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team. You’ll be working 40 hours per week, on a shift pattern from Monday to Friday between the hours of 08:00 and 16:30.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Support with all operational warehouse duties including unloading and loading of trunk vehicles
• Picking, packing, goods in and goods out
• Operate manual handling equipment under safe instruction and in-line with training practices
• Ensure all health and safety practices are followed in line with GXO policies

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good understanding of Health and Safety practices
• Able to work well within a team as well as on your own
