What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Will continuously engage the P2P Management to review P2P performance and key performance indicators and take a leadership role on required actions for improvement
- Responsible for defining leading practice processes, maintaining procure-to-pay policies, relevant standard templates and supporting tools to drive compliance with standard request-to-pay processes, approved P2P channels, and identification of new opportunities to increase efficiency
- Drive speed, quality, and simplification by eliminating rework loops, reducing and automating manual work and hand-offs, identifying and implementing best practices across the business, and minimizing process variability through standardization and automation
- Serves as the Americas and APAC Region P2P champion by partnering with Procurement, Finance, and Operations to promote P2P’s objectives and work with the regional leadership and resolve issues / non-compliance.
- Facilitate process reviews to identify opportunities for improvement
- Act as a key advisor to provide accurate and data-based recommendations to drive business performance to desired “happy path”
- Run cross-functional team meetings efficiently and optimally, with the ability to connect dots and influence key decisions.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field or equivalent related work or military experience
- 5+ years of successful project/program leadership experience and facilitation of large cross functional teams in finance transformation, business operations or technology process improvement areas
- 3+ years of experience in business process optimization/reengineering, applying process improvement, modeling, and reengineering methodologies to conduct process optimization and improvement projects.
- Strong understanding of End to End P2P Process
- Ability to travel 10% domestically
It’d be great if you also have:
- Master’s degree
- Oracle Fusion Experience
- Experience with e-sourcing platforms and auctions
