Warehouse Team Leader

Here at GXO, we are currently searching for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join one of our customers based in London. As a Team Leader, you are responsible for the processes and the team within your department. Ensuring constant management and engagement, while focusing on continuous improvement.

This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 08:00 till 17:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Ensure that they and individuals within their team comply with working practices that result in delivering a clean and safe workplace
• Providing focus on health & safety, productivity, accuracy, and quality by helping to lead the operational shift team by encouraging a team ethic to achieve daily targets for each shift
• Monitor progress and performance against key performance indicators and costs against budget

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Strong experience in a similar position, within a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve conflicts
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office software and WMS
