As the Communications Manager you’ll provide leadership for proposal and presentation development. You’ll drive efforts to create enterprise and thematic content that is visual, timely and engaging to support strategic initiatives. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Manage the creative teams’ projects and deliverables
  • Provide strategic vision and enforce brand integrity
  • Enhance the customer experience by connecting customer requirements to business goals through creative concepts
  • Lead preparation and storyboard meetings with cross-functional teams and executives for developing solution deliverables
  • Use observations to create strategic and visually impactful presentations
  • Develop new design concepts, graphics, and layouts using creative thinking
  • Coach presenters on key messaging and techniques for delivering solution presentations
  • Work creatively with designers, analysts, engineers, executives, etc.; work with cross-functional teams across the globe in multiple time zones
  • Collaborate with large internal teams on new products, solution development, and process improvements
  • Design on multiple software platforms and deliver final product mainly via PowerPoint
  • Maintain a continuously updated library of content and templates for added efficiency
  • Track performance and project details
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience

  • 5 years of relevant work experience in creative design and/or business development

  • Proven graphic design experience; must be able to provide work samples

  • Current and up-to-date experience in industry-leading software and technologies (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)

  • Solid Microsoft Office experience (PowerPoint and Excel) and PC skills

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Proven track record of experience leading complex creative projects

  • Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills; able to be conclusive, results-oriented, and strategic in thinking and approach

  • Capability to synthesize feedback and perspectives from multiple parties

  • Experience bringing new technical product offering to market

  • Experience with distribution center and/or supply chain networks
