IT Service Desk Analyst

Here at GXO, we are looking for a IT Service Desk Analyst to join the team at our friendly team in Chippenham. The role provides 1st line IT technical support, taking ownership of the incident through to resolution. The Service Desk builds rapport with customers and creates a positive impression delivering the best possible customer service.
This is a full time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, Hours of work are between 7 am and 7 pm, with a rotating shift pattern of 07:00 – 15:30 and 08:30 – 17:00

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Monitor support ticket queues ensuring incidents are actioned in line with SLA’s
- Support Head Office staff in Chippenham, Smart Meeting rooms and Hot Desks
- Maintain support tickets correctly and keep the client updated with progress every day
- Ensure any Incidents or Service Requests that cannot be resolved by the Service Desk are escalated appropriately
- Occasionally attend tech bar initiatives at locations/Sites around the country assisting users with IT issues
