Solutions Analyst - Finance

Here at GXO, we’re looking for a Finance Solution Analyst. In this role, you’ll be the subject‑matter expert for business processes within Finance ERP.
You’ll support the Finance Solution Delivery Manager, partner closely with 3rd‑party support teams, drive process improvements, and ensure our systems stay compliant and efficient.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, translating business needs into systems solutions, and owning processes end‑to‑end.
This is a full-time permanent position offering hybrid working with travel to various sites. You’ll be working Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00 based in our Chippenham office 2 days per week. However, some flexibility is required, this is logistics after all!
Pay, benefits and more:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £32,130, depending on experience and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Creating and maintaining clear Standard Operating Procedures for your assigned Finance processes
- Supporting Oracle quarterly update cycles, writing regression test scripts and performing testing in high‑risk areas
- Working with Solution Delivery Leads to promote process governance and ensure compliance with the delivered solution
- Collaborating with internal SMEs and external partners to resolve system issues and deliver process enhancements
- Providing training, guidance, and best‑practice support to Finance users across the business
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Applications or strong understanding of Finance ERP environments
- Solid understanding of financial controls, SOX compliance, and their impact on business processes
- Strong analytical ability, comfortable working with data and taking a logical, practical approach to problem‑solving
- Excellent organisational skills, able to multitask, prioritise, and work calmly under pressure
- A proactive, curious, future‑focused mindset with the confidence to lead on process improvements and small projects
