Support Analyst - 12 Month FTC
Are you the person everyone turns to when something needs fixing? Do you enjoy solving problems and keeping things running smoothly? Looking for your first step into IT or Support with a team that values attitude over experience?
Here at GXO, we’re looking for a proactive and curious Support Analyst, on a 12-month FTC basis, to join our friendly team in Chippenham.
This is ideal for someone with a problem‑solving mindset and a willingness to learn. You’ll be at the heart of our Finance Support function, helping manage and triage support tickets, ensuring smooth business processes, and supporting colleagues across the organisation.
With plenty of guidance from experienced team leads, this is a brilliant foundation for building a career in IT support, business systems, or service management.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract. You’ll be working Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00 with a requirement to be in our Chippenham office on a Tuesday & Wednesday each week. However, some flexibility is required, this is logistics after all!
Pay, benefits and more:
We’re looking to offer a salary of £27,000 with 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Triage incoming support tickets, ensuring they’re correctly logged and routed to the right support teams
- Check that users have followed self-help steps before escalating their request
- Work closely with SMEs and our outsourced support partner to help resolve incidents efficiently
- Support administrative and auditable processes across Finance, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Monitor ongoing vendor tickets, keeping them moving and ensuring any on-hold items are valid and up to date
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- A positive, curious attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A logical, practical approach to problem-solving with great attention to detail
- Good IT skills. Microsoft Office is essential; experience with Halo, ServiceNow or Oracle is a bonus
- A team-focused mindset and the ability to engage confidently with different colleagues and stakeholders
