Here at GXO, we’re looking for a full-time, permanent Catering Assistant to join our team in Leyland. You will be working 37.5 hours per week, on an ‘Any 5 days out of 7’ pattern, covering the hours of 06:00 to 14:00 and 10:00 to 18:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Create high-energy, nutritious meals to keep our team fuelled and ready for the day
- Perform cleaning and hygiene tasks as required by HACCP food safety policy, including plate and pot washing
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations, including preparation tasks, replenishment of counters and special offers, and vending cleaning and replenishment
- Complete any food safety documentation as required and undertake tasks to assist management within the scope of the role
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Ideally, you’ll have previous experience in a similar role
- An understanding of food safety standards (HACCAP)
- Flexible in your approach – there may be an opportunity for overtime!
- Excellent customer service skills
