Here at GXO, we’re looking for a forward thinking, pro-active Operations Manager to join our contract based in Dublin. You’ll take ownership of inventory strategy, goods-in management, stock accuracy, and returns for a leading e-commerce customer. You’ll use advanced analytics and demand planning principles to optimise space and stock flow, while leading a team to deliver exceptional results. You’ll be reporting directly to the General Manager, with responsibility for driving continuous improvement and meeting contractual SLAs.
This is a full-time permanent position. You’ll be working Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 09:00 till 17:30. Flexibility will be required, this is logistics after all!
Pay, benefits and more:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to €56,000 per annum, in line with qualifications and experience and 20 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays).
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead inventory and goods-in teams, setting objectives and monitoring performance
- Implement and optimise WMS systems (including JDA)
- Plan and organise PI counts and annual stocktaking
- Ensure stock integrity and reconciliation across multiple systems
- Manage budget and attend finance meetings
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Proven experience in supply chain, inventory optimisation, and team management
- Strong knowledge of WMS systems (JDA preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to influence, negotiate, and present confidently
- End-to-end understanding of supply chain principles, ideally within e-commerce
