Here at GXO, we’re looking for a proactive and people-focused Shift Manager to join our dynamic operations team based at our site in Rathcoole, Dublin. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring service levels are met, health & safety standards are upheld, and your team is engaged and productive.

 

This is a full-time, permanent position. You’ll be working on a ‘4 on 4 off’ basis, covering the hours of 07:00 till 19:00.

We’re looking to offer a competitive remuneration in line with qualifications and experience and 23 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays).

 

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Managing day-to-day warehouse operations to meet SLAs and KPIs
  • Leading and developing a team of Team Leaders, Admins, and Warehouse Operatives
  • Ensuring compliance with H&S policies and O License obligations
  • Collaborating with HR, H&S, and other stakeholders to maintain high operational standards
  • Proactively addressing issues and driving continuous improvement

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Proven experience managing teams in a logistics or supply chain environment
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manager performance, coach teams, and handle absence/holiday planning
  • Knowledge of warehouse systems and health & safety compliance
  • A customer-first mindset with a focus on operational excellence
