Warehouse Operative

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting full-time, permanent Warehouse Operatives to join our team in Hams Hall working on the Nestle Purina contract

 

 

This is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week Saturday – Wednesday between the hours of 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £27364.48 (plus shift allowance depending on hours worked and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you will do on a typical day:

 

    • Responsible for the receipt of inbound loads
    • Picking and packing orders
    • Preparing loads for despatch
    • Loading vehicles using MHE
    • Adhere to all GXO Health and Safety policies

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Experience of manual handling
  • MHE licences are advantageous but not essential as full training will be given
  • Ability to work well using your own initiative as well as within a team
  • A safety-focused, detail-oriented and conscientious approach to your work
