We’re looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our Drinks Logistics Business Unit in Coventry. There’s lots of change going on currently so we’re looking for someone who is up for a challenge. You’ll build and lead the HR function to support the delivery of our people plan and objectives.
This is a Permanent full time role working Monday to Friday however flexibility is required – this is logistics after all!
Pay, benefits and more:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £43,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

Lead the HR function, taking responsibility for all aspects of the “People Plan” to include accuracy and compliance playing an active part in the contract ethos and strategy

Provide full HR generalist support and advice to Managers and employees - ensuring a current knowledge of employee legislation and employee relations issues is maintained, ensuring the business area remains compliant and risk is mitigated

Take the lead on complex ER issues

Ensure the HR and Payroll team provide a consultancy and advisory service on matters of discipline, grievance and performance improvement
What you need to succeed at GXO:

Previous experience in a similar role working in a fast-paced environment

Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels

Have solid employment law knowledge

Excellent people management skills with the ability to build and maintain credible and strong professional relationships at all levels

Practiced in dealing with trade unions and associated collective agreements
