Warehouse Support Manager (Nights)

Here at GXO Logistics, we’re recruiting for a Warehouse Support Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis at our Drinks site in Coventry. As our Warehouse Support Manager, you’ll be accountable for the smooth day to day running of the warehouse operation on your shift to the agreed budget and service targets.

 

You will be working any 5 days from 7, covering the hours of 22:00 - 0600.

 

Pay, benefits and more:

 

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £36,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 33 days annual leave (inclusive bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Managing stock integrity, productivity, and facilities within the warehouse operation
  • Ensuring efficient planning, reviewing and communication of operational requirements and changes
  • Monitoring operational KPI’s, continually reviewing all aspects of the operation and driving improvements in methods, procedures and efficiency
  • Promoting high standards of hygiene and housekeeping and ensuring compliance to all legislative Health & Safety requirements

  • Strong warehouse system, administrative and stock process experience
  • Leadership qualities including the ability to enthuse and motivate
  • Drive, determination and a track record in meeting targets and delivering continuous improvement
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and deal with conflict successfully
