Class 2 Driver

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a Class 2 Driver to join our team in Crawley. You’ll be responsible for carrying out a mixture of deliveries for our Wickes Kitchen & Bathrooms contract.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working on a Tuesday to Saturday contracted to 45 hours per week, with a starting time between 05:00 – 07:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Drive Company vehicles and operate company equipment in a safe and professional manner in accordance with Company policies, procedures and legislation 
• Comply with the vehicle security and standing procedures at all times 
• Carry out vehicle and auxiliary equipment checks prior to the operation of any vehicle, reporting any defects immediately 
• This role ability to self-manage and use initiative for solving problems 
• Responsible for the Health and Safety of themselves and others, adhering to safe working practices and the Health & Safety at Work Act, including accident, incident and damage reporting 

What you need to succeed at GXO: 

• Hold a valid in date Class 2 licence 
• Hold a Valid Digital Tachograph Card & (Driver CPC) 
• Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience 
• Good timekeeper, with the ability to work unsupervised 
• This role will include a DBS check
