Are you an experienced Engineering Manager? Have you had exposure to warehouse automation solutions including Automated Guided Vehicles, conveyors & sorters? If so, then we might have the role for you!

 

Here at GXO, we’re looking for a full-time, permanent Engineering Manager to join us in Crick. You’ll lead the resident engineering team to complete preventative and corrective maintenance of site automation technology, in line with contract KPI’s and customer requirements.

 

You’ll be working Monday to Friday, however this is a 24/7 site, and you will want to flex sometimes to see all shifts, this is logistics after all.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £65,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Support the site QHSE team to ensure risk assessments and standard operating procedures (SOPs) remain effective and compliant

  • Complete technical audits on all equipment

  • FLASH report managed within SLA

  • Provide weekly, daily and monthly performance reports and develop and maintain visual management boards for the team

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Previous experience within a similar environment, working with warehouse automation solutions including Automated Guided Vehicles, conveyors & sorters

  • BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Engineering (Electrical)

  • NVQ Level 3+ degree

  • An excellent understanding of health, safety and environmental legislative framework with an IOSH qualification
