Inventory Manager

Here at GXO, we’re looking for an experienced and detail-focused Inventory Manager to join our Rotherham multi-user site. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and visibility of stock across the operation, while leading a team responsible for maintaining efficient stock control processes.
This role offers the chance to work closely with both internal teams and customers, driving improvements and ensuring best-in-class inventory management.
This is a full-time, permanent position. You will work Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Oversee end-to-end stock management, from receipt through to dispatch
- Lead and develop the Stock team, ensuring high performance and engagement
- Maintain and improve stock accuracy, reporting, and audit compliance (SOX/PWC)
- Manage cycle counting, stock audits, and inventory control processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure efficient stock flow and operational support
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Proven experience in a stock/inventory management role within a warehousing environment
- Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to analyse data and produce accurate reports
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on team development and continuous improvement
