LEM Supervsior (Cage Repair)

Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a LEM Supervisor (Cage Repair) to join equipment management operation at our Tesco RRU site in Goole. This operation is all about recycling and reuse which is an important part of the supply chain, ensuring equipment management and repair support to the customer and their distribution operations. You will be responsible for effectively managing the cage repair area, ensuring adherence to all company and legal requirements.

 

This is a full-time, permanent position, working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern from 06:00 till 18:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Support the shift and site manager with employment relations hearings, in line with company policy, procedures and national union agreements
  • Ensure that all equipment is operational and maintained in line with company Health and Safety Guidelines
  • Promote harmonious and effective working relationships and enhance morale, both internally and externally, ensuring excellent customer service
  • Monitor levels of consumables and carry out monthly stock checks

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure
  • Effective management and resolve conflict situations when required
  • Previous experience using a mig/tig welder would be desirable but not essential, as training will be given
