At GXO, we are seeking a Regional HR Manager to support our Home Delivery Network. This is a national role which supports multiple sites, there will be some travel required, a car allowance is provided. In this role, you will deliver high quality, consistent and clear employee relations advice, support and case management. This fast paced role supports both warehouse and transport operations, giving it great variety.

 

This is a full-time,6-month fixed term contract position, working Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, with flexibility on start and finish times. Ideally, you will be based near one of our sites in Nuneaton, Doncaster or Harlow.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Lead and support a team of three direct reports and a wider colleague base across multiple UK locations
  • Provide strategic and operational HR support to the Home Delivery Network and various customer accounts
  • Act as a key partner to operational leaders, driving employee engagement, wellbeing, and performance
  • Manage change initiatives such as restructures, redundancies, and TUPE transfers
  • Champion diversity, inclusion, and development across the network
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures across all sites
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve complex ER cases and drive proactive people solutions

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar HR management role, in an operational environment
  • Good understanding of employment law and ACAS code of practice
  • CIPD or equivalent qualification desirable or relevant HR experience at an appropriate level
  • Exposure to managing HR Projects
