Warehouse First Line Manager

Here at GXO, we’re looking for a Warehouse First Line Manager to join our B&Q contract based in Doncaster. As a First Line Manager, you’ll lead a team of Warehouse Operative to ensure smooth, efficient operations and exceptional customer service.

 

This is a full-time, permanent position. You’ll work ‘any 5 from 7’, working on rotating hours of 06:00 till 14:00, 10:00 till 18:00 and 14:00 till 22:00

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £40,000 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits include a company sponsored pension scheme, life assurance, and death in service. 

 

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Driving performance to meet KPIs for productivity, quality, and attendance
  • Leading daily team briefings and fostering strong communication
  • Managing Health & Safety compliance and promoting safe working practices
  • Identifying training needs and supporting staff development
  • Monitoring equipment usage and maintaining operational standards
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and operational projects

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Proven leadership experience with a fast-paced logistics/supply chain environment (FMCG environments preferred)
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Understanding on Health & Safety and Warehouse Systems
  • Analytical skills with a proactive mindset
