Warehouse Team Leader

Here at GXO Logistics, we’re looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our team at our B&Q Redhouse site in Doncaster. You’ll be responsible for motivating and leading a team of operatives, ensuring productivity targets are met and customer service standards are delivered to the highest level.

This is a full-time, permanent position. You will work rotating shifts of Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00. However flexibility will be essential at peak times, this is logistics after all!

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Supervise and motivate a team of warehouse operatives
• Allocate tasks and manage day-to-day workloads
• Deliver clear team briefings and communicate objectives effectively
• Ensure Health & Safety standards are met and maintained
• Deputise for the First Line Manager when required
• Complete accurate documentation, reports and statistics
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain site standards in hygiene and housekeeping

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse environment
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead by example
• PC literacy and awareness of Health & Safety practices
• Flexible approach to working shifts and a commitment to operational excellence
