Warehouse Team Leader

Here at GXO Logistics, we’re looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our team at our B&Q Redhouse site in Doncaster. You’ll be responsible for motivating and leading a team of operatives, ensuring productivity targets are met and customer service standards are delivered to the highest level.
This is a full-time, permanent position. You will work rotating shifts of Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00. However flexibility will be essential at peak times, this is logistics after all!

You’ll be paid a salary of £28,566 per annum, you’ll also receive 20 days annual leave (plus bank holidays. Your benefits package includes a company-sponsored pension plan and access to our voluntary benefits platform, offering retail discounts, cycle-to-work scheme, and more.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Supervise and motivate a team of warehouse operatives
- Allocate tasks and manage day-to-day workloads
- Deliver clear team briefings and communicate objectives effectively
- Ensure Health & Safety standards are met and maintained
- Deputise for the First Line Manager when required
- Complete accurate documentation, reports and statistics
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain site standards in hygiene and housekeeping
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse environment
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead by example
- PC literacy and awareness of Health & Safety practices
- Flexible approach to working shifts and a commitment to operational excellence
