As Fleet Support Officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and support of our fleet of vehicles. You will ensure that all vehicles are in optimal condition and that the administrative processes surrounding the fleet are carried out efficiently and accurately. You will also support the transport planning department (of our own drivers) where necessary.
What you do on a typical day as Fleet Support Officer:
- Maintenance and Repairs: Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Vehicle Inspections: Perform regular inspections to ensure the safety and reliability of the fleet
- Administration: Maintain detailed records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and other relevant documentation
- Fuel Management: Monitor fuel consumption and optimize fuel efficiency
- Communications: Act as a point of contact for drivers and other employees regarding fleet related issues
- Cost Management: Analyze and report costs related to the fleet and suggest cost savings
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal and company regulations related to the fleet
What do you need to succeed at GXO:
- Minimum MBO thinking and working level, preferably with experience or education in Logistics or Technical focussed
- Experience within a simmilar role is not needed, just the willingness to learn
- You can described as a good communicator, you have strong organizational and administrative skills plus the ability to work independently.
- Computerskills are needed to succeed in this job. If you have knowlegde of a fleet management system is that a great plus
