To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced Operations Manager Logistics (m/f/d) to join our brand new location in Dormagen.  

  

As Operations Manager (m/f/d), you will ensure smooth running of day-to-day operations and help to expand of our new multi-client site in Dormagen with up to approx. 100 employees. Our location is currently under construction - i.e. there is still plenty of scope for organizational measures and the opportunity to contribute your own ideas and visions. As an experienced leader you play a key role in maintaining good customer relations and successful people management - true to the motto: happy people - happy customer.  

 

What does your day look like in the role of our Operations Manager:

  • Planning and management of day-to-day operations  
  • Employee management including personnel planning and control for a team of up to 100 employees
  • Direct communication with internal and external customers, also at management level 
  • Monitoring and, if necessary, initiating countermeasures with regard to compliance with SLA specifications 
  • Continuous monitoring of relevant KPIs and proposed solutions for countermeasures as required 
  • Continuous process improvement 

 

What do you need to be successful:

  • Strong background in the logistics/supply chain sector
  • Very good knowledge of logistics processes  and proven professional experience in the management of larger teams  
  • Experience with startup organizations is a plus
  • Knowledge of common WMS systems 
  • Very good MS Office user skills, especially Excel 
  • Proficient level of English and German
  • Flexibility and resilience, very good communication skills
